#ArchFromHome Competition
**DEADLINE EXTENDED!** Submit your #ArchFromHome creations by Monday, April 6 at 6 p.m. CT.
We miss you and hope you are hanging in there. During this time of social distancing and home quarantine, we want to bring the Gateway Arch to you.
Introducing the #ArchFromHome competition!
The challenge is simple: Step into Gateway Arch architect Eero Saarinen’s shoes and make a replica Arch of your own out of any household or outdoor item(s) of your choosing… blocks, canned goods, toilet paper rolls, buckets, flower pots… anything goes!
RULES: Make a replica Gateway Arch out of anything in your home. The arch can be as big or small as you’d like, but remember, the real Gateway Arch is as tall as it is wide, so be sure to incorporate that element into your design. Entries will be judged by National Park Service and Arch staff on creativity and accuracy of the arch structure and curve. Designs can incorporate different items. Post your design to Twitter or Instagram with #ArchFromHome. Entries must be posted by Monday, April 6, 2020, at 6 p.m. CT. Winner will be notified by Friday, April 10, 2020, via Twitter or Instagram DM. The winner will also be recognized with an Instagram post and tweet on the @GatewayArchSTL account.
PRIZE: One winner will receive (4) See Everything Combos (one combo includes the Tram Ride to the Top, Documentary Movie ticket and a St. Louis Riverfront Cruise on the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch); (1) $100-level Gateway Arch Park Foundation membership; and an assortment of outdoor items from Great Rivers Greenway.
This contest is for all ages and skill levels – get the family involved and let’s see your arch designs!
