Canoeing, Hiking and More: Outdoor Adventures for All Ages

Saturday, October 29, Canoemobile, a traveling environmental program that engages people in introductory outdoor experiences, partners with the National Park Service to host a day of outdoor fun at the Lincoln Shields Recreation Area in West Alton, Missouri, with Canoe-n-Boo.
Dress in your favorite Halloween costume or celebration of autumn attire, grab the kiddos and enjoy the beautiful autumn weather with this free family-friendly event, featuring:
- Geocaching (Don’t know what it is? This video explains it all!)
- Hiking
- Living history of the area
- Bird watching
- Water safety
- Paddling a 24-foot Voyageur canoe (That’s right! You’ll get to experience canoeing on the waterways.)
All training and supplies will be available upon arrival to prepare participants for these exciting experiences. No experience is necessary!
