Cupid Approves: Spend Valentine’s Day at the Gateway Arch!
The Gateway Arch is a great destination for students learning about westward expansion, for out-of-towners on a getaway, and for residents who want to show off their fair city. But in addition to being a top educational, family and tourist attraction in St. Louis, the Arch can be quite the romantic spot to bring your significant other.
With February 14 just around the corner, you may be finding yourself in a tough spot: Where shall you and your lover spend Valentine’s Day? No matter if it’s your first V-Day together or your 50th, deciding where to spend this “holiday” can be a very daunting task.
Thankfully, the Gateway Arch makes for a great romantic destination. That’s right: Take your significant other on a stroll through the Arch park grounds, then head inside and grab coffee at the Levee Mercantile. Next, cozy up while taking in one of the Arch movies, and after, explore the Museum of Westward Expansion. Finally, wrap up your trip and brave a Journey to the Top ride together.
Take it from this story that ran on KPLR 11 last year. You never know what can happen at the Arch!
If you decide not to spend Valentine’s Day at the Arch, then consider this: If you’ve grown tired of giving the standard flowers or chocolate gifts for Valentine’s Day, try the gift of gift certificates to the Gateway Arch Experience, good for Arch attractions and future Gateway Arch Riverboat sightseeing or dinner cruise! Currently, the Gateway Arch Experience is offering $5 off the purchase of a $30 gift certificates and $10 off the purchase of a $50 gift certificate.
