Fee-Free Day

Each year, the National Park Service offers fee-free days in which the NPS entrance fee is waived. At Gateway Arch National Park, the $3 entrance fee is included in each adult Tram Ride to the Top ticket and adult Documentary Movie ticket. On the fee-free days, that $3 is waived.

2020 fee-free days are January 20 (Martin Luther King, Jr. birthday), April 18 (First day of NPS Week), August 5 (Celebrating the passage of the Great American Outdoors Act), September 26 (National Public Lands Day) and November 11 (Veterans Day).

FAIR SAINT LOUIS ADVISORY: On July 4, 5, & 6, the Gateway Arch and Old Courthouse will be open for visitors during Fair Saint Louis. Large crowds are expected at Gateway Arch National Park beginning mid-day through 10pm each day. All tram ticket holders are advised to arrive at the Arch grounds at least 45 minutes ahead of your scheduled tram time to go through two security checkpoints. Multiple street closures will be in place and parking will be in high demand – visit www.getaroundstl.com for a list of parking locations or plan to arrive by MetroLink to the 8th & Pine or Laclede’s Landing Stations.
