Veteran Speaker: Eric Maddox

Honoring Those Who Served

In honor of Veterans Day, the Gateway Arch Park Foundation will host a special speaker event in the Tram Lobby of the newly renovated Gateway Arch. Former Army Staff Sgt. Eric Maddox will talk about his role in the capture of Saddam Hussein, in December 2003. Maddox used non-violent interrogation methods to discover Saddam’s whereabouts by closing in on Saddam’s inner circle of bodyguards. This is a free event, and the public is invited to hear Maddox’s exciting story and inspirational speech on November 9 at 9:30 a.m. The Veteran Speaker Event is sponsored by Edward Jones and Boeing.
