Extra! Extra! Be a Vendor on the St. Louis Riverfront
Want to sell your merchandise, souvenirs, and unique food and beverage items in a place where 2.5 million people visit each year? Or maybe you want to rent out recreational equipment or run tour programs and experiences? Consider the St. Louis Riverfront! Gateway Arch National Park partner Great Rivers Greenway is currently seeking diverse and creative vendors to enhance and enliven the riverfront this summer.
A request for bids is now available for entities wishing to have a seasonal presence on the St. Louis Riverfront from mid-May to September 7, 2020. Four of ten dedicated spaces are available on Leonor K. Sullivan Boulevard below the Gateway Arch. Responses are due Feb 28, 2020.
Due to the recent renovations, ramps on the east slopes of the Gateway Arch National Park now provide accessible routes from the Gateway Arch all the way to the cobblestone levee, where it greets the Mississippi Greenway, Leonor K. Sullivan Boulevard and the mighty Mississippi River. The 1.5-mile area has been raised to reduce flooding and allow for residents and visitors alike to visit the front door to the region.
Full details, including measurements, specifics about lighting and electricity, and the full permitting process are available in the RFP, available online. Again, responses are due Feb 28, 2020.
