Gateway Arch Hosts “Frights & Heights” Halloween Celebration
ST. LOUIS (September 18, 2019) – Halloween comes a little early to the Gateway Arch this year! On the evening of Saturday, October 26, the tallest monument in America will transform into the spookiest monument with Frights & Heights, a brand-new, family-friendly Halloween celebration full of tricks and treats.
“We are thrilled to bring people of all ages a new way to experience the Gateway Arch,” said Mary Lamie, Executive Vice President of Multi Modal Enterprises, Bi-State Development. “We ask visitors to don their best Halloween costumes, and to join us for a night of ‘spooktacular’ fun with an experience you can’t find anywhere else in the world.”
Frights & Heights features:
- Trick or Tram: The Arch’s famous Tram Ride to the Top undergoes a spooky makeover. Experience scary sights on the one-of-a-kind 630-foot ride to the top of the Arch.
- Ghoulish Gourds: Decorate small pumpkins and take them home with you.
- Freaky Face Painting: Look wickedly awesome with a Halloween transformation.
