Haunted Happenings in the Lou
The most frightful day of the year is just around the corner! Grab your goblins and ghoul-friends and head to one (or all) of these spook-tacular events happening in the Lou! There’s something for every-boo-dy, from the most miniature monsters to those in daringly dreadful disguises, everyone is sure to have a wicked good time.
For Kids:
- Frights and Heights at the Gateway Arch
- Saturday, October 26
- You’re invited to a night of Halloween festivities, topped off with a view you won’t find anywhere else! Put on your costume and join us at the Gateway Arch for a new, family-friendly Halloween celebration. The evening includes a haunted Tram Ride to the Top, face painting, balloon animals, pumpkin crafts, a DJ dance party, storytelling and more!

- Nightly October 15-30
- Bring your little ghouls and goblins to the St. Louis Zoo for a non-scary, kid-friendly Halloween experience. Children are encouraged to wear costumes!
- Not-So-Haunted House at The Magic House

- Children of all ages are invited to dress in their most “boo-tiful” costumes and have a ghoulishly good time trick or treating and getting autographs from their favorite storybook characters at this candy-free celebration.

- Scare up some fun on the Halloween Costume Party Cruise! Dance to a DJ, enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, and compete in a costume contest!

- Festivities kick off with daytime activities for the whole family. As the sun sets, the party continues with an adults-only bash and costume contest, known for its elaborate, complex and outrageous costumes!
- Pumpkin Glow in Historic St. Charles

- Enjoy deals, squeals, and pumpkins! The street will be illuminated with hundreds of glowing pumpkins. Be sure to visit with the Legends & Lanterns characters for chilling ghost stories and haunting encounters.
- Ghost Cruise Presented by Phantasmagoria aboard the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch

- The Ghost Cruise is a mesmerizing tribute to the fantastical. Let the chills wash over you as the Victorian horror troupe, Phantasmagoria, performs twisted tales of Halloween legend right before your eyes.
