On Saturday, November 23, let us plan your day with a flurry of activities at the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch, Gateway Arch and Winterfest Ice Rink!

You’ll start off at the Mississippi River and make your way over to the Arch by midday and Kiener Plaza by day’s end, experiencing three incredible attractions only found here in St. Louis.

9:30-11:30 a.m.: PJs and Pancakes with Santa Cruise
It’s a holiday outing for the entire family: Cruise the Mighty Mississippi on a replica paddlewheel riverboat with the big man himself—Santa Claus! Come dressed in your favorite PJs and enjoy a bountiful breakfast buffet, holiday crafts and other activities, unique views of downtown and the Arch, and take a photo with Santa.

TICKETS: $38 per person. Children 2 and under are free.

12-3 p.m.: Museum at the Gateway Arch and Tram Ride to the Top
Our favorite experience any day of the year. After taking a National Park Service ranger-led tour of the Museum at the Gateway Arch, take a Tram Ride to the Top. Our unique tram system will lift you 630 feet up to the top of the tallest monument in the United States, offering breathtaking views of St. Louis on both sides of the Mississippi River. (Even better, book a Winterfest ice skate rental + tram ride combo!)

4-8 p.m.: Winterfest Ice Rink Opening Day

Ice skate in the shadow of the Arch at the Winterfest Ice Rink in Kiener Plaza, hosted by the Gateway Arch Park Foundation and St. Louis Blues. This downtown St. Louis winter tradition is bigger, better and brighter this year with a longer season, a cheery warming Igloo Village, a Winter Market for holiday shopping and so much more.

On opening day, enjoy free skate rentals all day long (12-8 p.m.) courtesy of Ameren Missouri, and skate into the evening to take part in Ameren Missouri Festival of Lights activities and enjoy a grand fireworks finale. The Winter Market—a European style outdoor market featuring local vendors and artisans curated by The Women’s Creative—will be open for shopping, and private igloos—which feature comfortable, cozy seating, table service from the Sugarfire Winterfest Café, up to six skate rentals, free parking at Ballpark Village and of course a gorgeous view of the Gateway Arch for picture-perfect photos—are available to rent.

SKATE RENTALS: $12 per adult. $7 per child (ages 3-15). Foundation Members receive $2 off skate rentals. Anyone who brings their own approved ice skates can skate for free.
