Labor Day Weekend in STL
Is there anything better than a three-day weekend in the Lou? There are so many fun things happening this weekend, we could really use a fourth day to squeeze everything in 😉 Be sure to visit the Arch during its last weekend of extended summer hours. Nothing beats a sunset view from the top! Starting Tuesday, September 3, the Arch will be open 9 am – 6 pm. Enjoy the weather and have a blast with friends and family this weekend!
Docktails Happy Hour | August 29
Cheers to the end of the workday and being on the cusp of a long weekend! Kick back and relax for happy hour on the dock of the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch. Enjoy drink specials, appetizers and live music under the Gateway Arch.
Blues at the Arch | August 30
Named “Best Way to Celebrate St. Louis” by the Riverfront Times, this partnership between the Gateway Arch Park Foundation, the National Blues Museum, and the National Park Service brings renowned blues artists to the Arch grounds for free concerts in August. This weekend, enjoy performances from Marquise Knox and Brandon “Taz” Niederauer.

Fall Art Fair at Queeny Park | August 30 & 31; September 1
The Art Fair at Queeny Park is one of the most reputable and longest-running art fairs in the bi-state region. Relax in the comfort of the climate controlled Greensfelder Recreation Center as you peruse the aisles of original, unique pieces from 130 artists from 20 or more states.

Big Muddy Blues Festival | August 31
Make your way to Laclede’s Landing this Labor Day weekend for the 24th annual Big Muddy Blues Festival. The festival is free to attend and will feature performers including Fab Foehners, Jerimiah Johnson, David Dee, Uvee Hayes, Big George Brock, Ms. Hy-C & Fresh Start, and Marquise Knox.
Before the festival, join the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch for a dockside party! The pre-party will feature music by Brian Curran and Adam Andrews on the dock from 12 to 3 p.m., and food and drinks will be flowin’ from the Paddlewheel Cafe and the brand-new dockside bar.

St. Nicholas Greek Festival | August 31; September 1 & 2
Entering its 102nd year and voted the best local festival by St. Louis Magazine, the Greek Festival features live entertainment, delicious food and drink, a tour of the beautiful church and a gift shop featuring imported items from Athens. This festival is free to attend.

Catch a Cards Game | August 30 & 31; September 1 & 2
It will be a baseball-filled weekend in STL, as the Cards take on the Reds four times Friday through Sunday (two games on Saturday!), and the Giants on Monday afternoon. Let’s go birds!
