Pack up the family, saddle up, and get ready for a night out in the Old Westuh, the Museum of Westward Expansion, that isat the fourth annual Night at the Museum, Saturday, March 22 from 6 to 9 pm.
This fun-filled family night invites visitors to interact with historical charactersfrom pioneers and mountain men to frontier soldiersand hear their stories of life in the early American West. Kids can partake in buffalo chip races, learn about keel boat cordelling, build their own branding irons, explore an authentic tipi and participate in sing-a-longs.
Perfect for a family’s night out or those in town for spring break, Night at the Museum will be one of the last major museum events before the Museum of Westward Expansion closes for CityArchRiver 2015 renovations.
Space is limited and reservations are required. Tickets are $15 per person (children 2 and under are free) and include a tram ride to the top of the Arch and hot dog dinner. Kids ages 3-15 will receive passes for a future Gateway Arch Riverboat sightseeing cruise.
