Soaking Up the Last of Summer
Welp. St. Louis schools are back in session. We don’t know about you, but we’re not quite ready for the end of summer. But, all good things must come to an end… right? So as summer dwindles to a close, let’s soak up these last few weeks with FREE, family-friendly fun in STL.
Festival of Nations
Presented by the International Institute in St. Louis, the Festival of Nations is a multicultural celebration! Featuring over 40 ethnic food booths, arts and crafts, music, and an international bazaar with unique gifts from around the world – you will not want to miss this event at Tower Grove Park on Saturday, August 26 (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Sunday, August 27 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
Jungle Boogie
The Jungle Boogie Friday Night Concert Series rocks the Saint Louis Zoo every Friday night until Sept. 1. From 5 to 8 p.m., you can enjoy kids’ activities, food and drink from the Safari Grill and Lakeside Café, and live music!
St. Louis World’s Fare Festival
Join St. Louisans in celebrating the 1904 World’s Fair in Forest Park, August 18, 19 & 20! Featuring local restaurant and food trucks, live music, historical exhibitions, art displays, a Ferris Wheel, and more – the three-day St. Louis World’s Fare Festival is an event that has something for everyone to enjoy.
Food Truck Friday
Food and Fridays – our two favorite things! Presented by Sauce Magazine, the 6th Annual Food Truck Friday series continues through October in Tower Grove Park with the next event on August 11 from 4 to 8 p.m. August’s lineup features 20 local food trucks such as Zia’s, Seoul Taco, Clementine’s Creamery and more!
Blues at the Arch
Don’t forget about the Blues at the Arch free concert series at the North Gateway of the Arch Grounds, near Laclede’s Landing and the Eads Bridge. Grab a blanket and a picnic dinner, (or enjoy the many food and drink vendors at the event!) and join us on Friday, August 11, 18 & 25 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. for blues music under the St. Louis skyline.
