STL Moves – 2020 Transportation Month
Join us in May 2020 for programs, events and experiences free and open to all!
By air. By water. By train. By tram. In every way, St. Louis is on the move! Join us all May in celebrating the past, present and future of transportation in the St. Louis region with stlmoves at Gateway Arch National Park and the St. Louis Riverfront.
St. Louis is rich in transportation history, from steamers and riverboats lining our riverfront in the 1800s, to one of the most unique transportation systems in the world – the Gateway Arch’s historic Tram Ride to the Top. This May, the Arch and St. Louis Riverfront will be “movin’” with activities, lectures, displays and demonstrations all celebrating movement – whether it’s the flight of birds or planes, the workings of riverboats, the advent of modern transit, or simply highlighting local trails to get around by bike or on foot.
Transportation Expo – May 2
stlmoves kicks off Saturday, May 2 with the Transportation Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Arch and along the riverfront. All ages and abilities are invited to partake in an array of activities and interactive experiences from organizations across our region. There is something for everyone!
Stay tuned for more details about other activities throughout the month, including an art exhibit, Imagination Contest for kids, speakers, programs and much more. We hope to see you at the Arch and Riverfront in May!
stlmoves, a celebration of transportation in the St. Louis region, is a month long, free series brought to you by Gateway Arch National Park partners National Park Service, Bi-State Development, Gateway Arch Park Foundation, Jefferson National Parks Association and Great Rivers Greenway.
