Mother’s Day Storytime: May 12, 11 a.m.
It’s a special storytime event perfect for celebrating Mom! Moms and kids can enjoy readings of “I’ve Loved You Since Forever” by Hoda Kotb and “Everything Is Mama” by Jimmy Fallon at the Barnes & Noble at Fenton Commons Shopping Center’s Mother’s Day Storytime. Free.
Tweens Create: Bath Bombs for Mom: May 12, 2:30-3:30 p.m.
Is there a better present for Mom than a delicious-smelling bath bomb? Head to the St. Charles City-County Library to make a bath bomb for Mother’s Day. All supplies are provided. Free and open to kids grades 4-8. Registration is required.
Where Daisies Bloom: May 13, 10-11:30 a.m.
Pinot’s Palette in Chesterfield hosts a kid-friendly family painting class with mini canvases, where participants can honor Mom by painting a scene of personalized jars in a garden of daisies. Art supplies are provided! $19 per painter. Click here for more information and to register.
Mother’s Day Sunday Brunch Cruise: May 13, 1-3 p.m.
Mom will love spending her Sunday afternoon brunching and cruising on the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch! Enjoy upbeat sounds of live Dixieland music and feast upon a delicious brunch buffet including French toast, cheese blintzes, carved prime rib and more.
