Hockey is taking over St. Louis with the NHL All-Star Game and corresponding festivities quickly approaching. But for those who are not hockey fans, there is plenty to do in town this weekend! Here are a few suggestions:

St. Louis Riverfront Cruise: While their regular cruise season doesn’t start for a few more weeks, The Riverboats at the Gateway Arch’s one-hour St. Louis Riverfront Cruise returns for a limited January run January 25 and 26!  See the Gateway Arch from a different point of view as you relive the days when steamboats ruled the river, with narration provided by the captain. Each day, cruises depart at noon and 1:30 p.m. (Pro tip: Save money with the Tram & Cruise ticket combo, which includes a Tram Ride to the Top of the Arch!)

St. Louis Auto Show featuring the St. Louis Motorcycle & Custom Bike Show: On the north end of downtown St. Louis, the Dome at America’s Center will be bustling with activity January 23-26, thanks to the St. Louis Auto Show! Check out more than 500 new cars, trucks, SUVs and even motorcycles. Other activities include a free kid zone featuring a 400-foot-long indoor zipline.

The Enchanted Tales Film Series: The magic of Disney comes to local Marcus Theatres with their Enchanted Tales Film Series. For just $6, you and the kiddos can enjoy the animated classic Aladdin January 24 and 25. (Bonus: Kids can get free popcorn! Just head to the website to find out how.)

Maplewood Sweet Tooth Tour: Maplewood sure is SWEET – get a taste at the Maplewood Sweet Tooth Tour on Saturday, January 25! Enjoy an afternoon of walking through historic downtown Maplewood while indulging in samples of handcrafted sweets from 15 of the city’s restaurants and food purveyors such as Strange Donuts, Pie Oh My!, Foundation Grounds and Vom Fass. Tickets are required. Event will take place rain or shine or snow.

da Vinci The Exhibition: Discover the world of Leonardi da Vinci at da Vinci The Exhibition, now showing at the Saint Louis Science Center. The exhibit features more than 60 life-size recreations of the Renaissance master’s inventions and interactive machines, as well as 20 replicas of his art. Tickets are required.
