MEDIA ALERT
Due to decreased capacity in the Gateway Arch due to current construction, a timed ticket is required to enter the Arch facility beginning Monday, March 2.
All Gateway Arch visitors can purchase Journey to the Top tram ride tickets and Arch Entry-Only tickets online at http://ticketsforthearch.com, by phone at 877-982-1410, or in person at the Old Courthouse (11 North Fourth Street, St. Louis, MO 63102), which serves as the Ticketing & Visitor Center for the Gateway Arch during construction and is the new starting point for visitors’ Gateway Arch experience. Day-of tickets can be purchased at the Old Courthouse, but visitors are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets prior to the day of their visit.
? A Journey to the Top ticket ($10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 3-15) includes a tram ride as well as a showing of the award-winning film Monument to the Dream, which documents the construction of the Arch (based on availability).
? An Arch Entry-Only ticket ($3 for adults, free for kids) allows access into the Arch facility and admission to Monument to the Dream (based on availability).
“With the closure of the Museum of Westward Expansion, the number of people that can safely be in the Arch facility at one time is much lower,” said Ann Honious, Chief, Museum Services and Interpretation, Jefferson National Expansion Memorial. “Timed tickets will allow us to regulate the number of people who enter the Arch facility every day. In order to guarantee entrance to the Arch on the day of your planned visit, we strongly advise all guests to purchase their Journey to the Top and Arch Entry-Only tickets prior to the day of their visit at ticketsforthearch.com, in person at the Old Courthouse, or by calling 877-982-1410.”
