Watch Party & Happy Hour on the Mississippi
ST. LOUIS – In partnership with Explore St. Louis, the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch will host River Reels, a watch party and happy hour on the Mighty Mississippi, on Wed., Oct. 12. This special event will feature an exclusive screening of the “Facing Waves” episode that featured host Ken Whiting paddling down the Mississippi River with Big Muddy Adventures, as well as stops at iconic St. Louis spots, like Union Station.
Tickets are $35 each and will include a welcome cocktail as well as an appetizer bar, with a cash bar available for additional refreshments during the event. Roo Yawitz, owner of Big Muddy Adventures and advocate for local outdoor adventure, will offer remarks before the screening. As the episode plays, the Becky Thatcher riverboat will push off from the docks, taking guests on an hour-long sunset cruise on the Mississippi River.
