Where Is Buddy Bison?
SPOTTED: The woolly mascot of the National Park Trust, Buddy Bison, roaming around Gateway Arch National Park, experiencing the wonders of St. Louis’ urban national park!
All year long, the loveable Buddy Bison will be taking over Gateway Arch National Park’s Facebook and Instagram pages to show off all the park has to offer visitors, students, Arch and national park enthusiasts, and so many others.
Whether he is in the Gateway Arch observation deck taking in the incredible views of St. Louis from 630 feet above, or meandering through the Museum at the Gateway Arch learning about westward expansion, Buddy wants you to join him as he learns about the significance of Gateway Arch National Park and how important it is to the story of America.
This year, Buddy also plans to highlight the park’s park partners Gateway Arch Park Foundation and Jefferson National Parks Association, in-person dining at the Arch Café, as well as nearby parks Ste. Genevieve National Historical Park and Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site. After all, “the parks are yours!”
